A FATHER and son team are to ride from London to Paris to raise money for good causes.
Michael Crompton, 52, and his son Jonathan, 22, will take part in the bike ride in July, in aid of the Children with Cancer charity.
The Samlesbury pair hope to raise around £600 and already have £215 pledged.
Michael said: “I’ve never done anything like this before and I just thought that it was about time that I did something for charity.
“I started training in July and we are both really looking forward to it.
“It will be a great experience and it’s great that I will be sharing it with my son.
“He is studying in Newcastle and I hope that he has been training as much as me.”
