THE Ribchester Roman Museum is set to showcase an interactive 3D model of the village in the third century AD as part of its centenary events.
The model, which has been under development for the last 18 months, will allow visitors to navigate through the roman fort and its surroundings and enter some of the reconstructed buildings.
The model will become a permanent part of the museum's exhibits following the centenary and will be developed and enhanced on an ongoing basis.
The museum will also host a two-day event from Saturday, July 12, complete with re-enactment groups Legio Secunda Augusta, a first century society, and Roman Cavalry group Romanorum.
