RUNNERS from across the borough are limbering up to take part in the first ever Ron Hill Accrington 10k on Sunday.
World famous Ron will lead the crowds as they embark on the scenic route - sporting race number one - from Willow Street at 10.30am.
Almost 300 sporty sorts have already signed up to take part in the event, which is set to become an annual race, but there’s still time to lace up and join in the fun by registering online at www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/ 10krun or entering on the day.
It costs £8 for affiliated runners to enter, £10 for unaffiliated and £12 on the day.
Money raised will go to local charities Finley’s Disney Dream, East Lancashire Hospice and Derian House Children’s Hospice.
Enter online at www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/ 10krun.
