BLACKBURN Central High School has been short-listed in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Awards.
The school, designed in consultation with pupils, parents and the local community, has been shortlisted in the infrastructure category.
Coun Dave Harling, executive member for schools at Blackburn with Darwen Council, said: “It is great to see that Blackburn Central High School has been nominated for this award, recognising what is an ultra-modern and attractive facility which will serve the community for years to come, and I wish them every success.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 8, at The Palace Hotel in Manchester, and will be hosted by George Clarke.
