MORE than 100 girls from the Burnley area took part in a 100th ‘birthday’ party for the Brownie movement.
Shuttleworth College hosted the celebration, which featured activities by Flash Bang Science and zumba, alongside traditional pursuits.
Special guests included seven-year-old Grace Forsyth, of Habergham All Saints Brownies, who blew out the candles on a specially-designed cake.
Eleanor Walsh, nine, also fashioned a special badge to mark the occasion.
Brownie leader Jane Pullan said: “It was fantastic to see the girls have so much fun and being so proud to be a Brownie.”
