EAST Lancashire celebrity chef and food writer, Philippa James, has been announced as the ‘resident chef’ at the new demonstration kitchen in Blackburn Market when it is launched this Easter.
She has cooked on Flog It! with Paul Martin and she was invited onto The Great British Bake Off where she and Sue Perkins made a traditional Lancashire Courting Cake.
Already lined up to take part in the programme of monthly Saturday lunchtime events are chefs Anson Bolton from the Millstone at Mellor, Antony Shirley from the Seafood Pub Company and family cook, Sonia Harrison from Liz ‘n’ Lils.
Philippa will launch the demonstration kitchen at Blackburn Market on April 12.
