YOUNG percussionists have hit the mark in national music exams.
Eight musicians from East Lancashire scored 80 per cent and over in Trinity Rockschool exams.
Clitheroe teacher Declan Sanderson said he was thrilled with his pupils, who attend schools and colleges in Haslingden, Accrington, Nelson, Billington and Clitheroe.
He said: "I hope one or two will go on to become drumming stars of the future."
The exams are run by Trinity College, London.
