PENDLE residents are being asked to comment on the Core Strategy – the document that will be used to guide decisions on proposals for new developments in the borough.
Residents have six weeks from today to make their views known.
Coun Tony Greaves, Pendle Council’s executive member for planning, said: “The council has updated much of the evidence for the document, including the land it would need to meet the housing and employment needs on the basis of the government’s policies.
“Two strategic sites have been identified for the council to be able to meet these needs and we want to hear people’s views on these proposals.”
You can view the document and make written comments at Nelson’s Number One Market Street and Nelson, Colne and Barnoldswick libraries.
Alternatively, you can view it and make comments on Pendle Council’s website at www.pendle.gov.uk/ corestrategy.
