PENDLE residents have the chance to get a better understanding of what their energy bills mean at two special ‘clinics’ in the next few weeks. Pendle Council is working with LESS, a Lancashire community interest company dedicated to promoting sustainable living, to help de-mystify the figures and units on typical gas, electricity and water bills. The clinics will help residents understand their existing energy tariff and identify ways they can make savings on their energy bills. The energy bill clinics are drop-in events being held in the pavilion at Victoria Park in Nelson, off Carr Road. They will run between 1pm and 4pm on Friday, January 17, and Tuesday, February 4. For more information in advance of the drop-ins contact 01282 661771.
