POLICE are advising residents in Wilpshire to be vigilant and keep their doors locked after a string of burglaries in the area.
They are also asking any Wilpshire residents to contact them if they have private CCTV, see anyone acting suspicious, or if they notice any unusual vehicles in the area.
The Ribble Valley policing team is advising residents to always lock doors and windows and apply alarms where fitted, check doors and windows to ensure they are secure, close curtains and remove all valuables from sight at night and lock doors and windows on all outbuildings, garages and sheds.
The reported break-ins took place between Friday, November 1 and Saturday, December, 14.
