A BLACKBURN school has been praised for providing excellence in education.
Blackburn Central High School has received a commendation at the 2013 Educational Business Awards for Outstanding Progress.
The national award recognises excellence in the UK education sector. In making these awards, researchers pursue a wide range of statistics in order to uncover best practice. Government departments, education associations and businesses, all help to nominate UK schools that are leading by example in many different ways.
BCHS along with four other schools from across the country were nominated for the Outstanding Progress Award. The awards were held at The Emirates Stadium, London, last week.
