PART of a M65 slip road was closed for around half an hour today after a lorry’s wheels set on fire.
Fire crews attended the scene at the exit slip road of junction eight at 12.45pm and battled the blaze for 20 minutes.
The driver was not injured and the fire was caused by a defect on the wheels.
