TWO men have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with the robbery of taxi driver Muzammal Hussain on October 21.
Anthony Phillip Holt, 26, of Accrington Road, and James Patrick McInerney, 28, of Walsh Street, Blackburn, were sent to Preston Crown Court.
Holt was remanded in custody and McInerney was granted bail. They will both appear at the Crown Court on November 20.
Mr Hussain was working for City Taxis when he was allegedly hit over the head with a can of beer before his assailants made off with £200 in cash.
