VOTES for Natalie Gumede were pouring in over the weekend but it seems they were not all for her dazzling quickstep on Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Television lovers up and down the country were also voting for Natalie for the Inside Soap Awards and she was crowned ‘Best Bitch’.
The Burnley-born actress who lived in Colne joked about the award for her portrayal of villain Kirsty Soames in Coronation Street when she tweeted: “Thank you to @itvcorrie @insidesoapmag and all viewers, readers and voters for my Best Bitch Award! What everyone already knew confirmed ;).”
Off the cobbles and on the dance floor, Natalie is continuing to stun judges with her performances and has been the subject of high praise from her professional partner, Artem Chigvintsev.
The Russian professional tweeted after their performance on Saturday night: “Words can not describe how proud I am of Natalie Gumede for such a stunning performance considering how difficult this week was.”
