A 20-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with sexual offences, against three girls under 16.
Benjamin David Birne, of Princes Street, Blackburn, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court.
He faces five charges of engaging in penetrative sexual activity, one of rape and two of causing a girl to engage in sexual activity, all in Darwen.
The alleged victims were aged 12, 13 and 15.
