A HAPTON-based car dealership has announced plans to open a new £2million showroom and servicing centre in Blackburn.
Supercars from Porche, Aston Martin and Bentleys will be among the cars rolling onto Trident Park next month.
The Hippo Motor Group’s new centre will be based at the major hub for prestigious car showrooms, off Whitebirk Drive, near junction six of the M65.
The firm was set up in 2006 by Tom and Richard Preston, and now boasts a 30-strong team, and a turnover of more than £11million a year.
Managing director Tom Prest-on said: “This is one of the most prestigious car showrooms in East Lancashire and represents a significant investment for the Hippo Motor Group.
“We are looking forward to welcoming customers into our new premises, and offering an unrivalled buying experience – whether they’re buying a hand- picked part-exchange from Hippo Used Cars, an Aston Martin from Hippo Prestige, or leasing a car, or van, on contract hire from Hippo Leasing. All will benefit from the remark-able service we offer.”
The Hippo Motor Group has a prestige showroom, which features £80,000 Land Rovers and £75,000 Porches, at Sandringham Court on the Network 65 busin-ess park. Other major brands incl-ude Ford, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Bentley, Aston Martin, BMW, and Audi
