CROFT Fold Farm and Study Centre in Helmshore is inviting mini explorers and their families to take part in animal and craft activities until winter.
Each session, on Wednesdays, includes feeding the hens, collecting eggs and visiting other farm animals, such as cows, sheep, lambs, pigs and goats.
Feeding and watering the farm pets include guinea pigs, rabbits and cats.
The farm usually has a craft activity, a sing-along, a story in the big yurt and playing in the woodland.
Home-made preserves and eggs are also available to buy.
Some of the activities are seasonal, all are immediately related to what’s happening on the farm and each week is different.
During term time all pre-school children and their carers are welcome and during school holidays older siblings can join in the fun.
The sessions are held between 10am and noon. Admission for pre-school children is £4.50, £6 for older siblings, £1 for mums and £1 for babies.
