SHEEP trade at Gisburn Auction Market saw an up-turn in trade at its last meeting.
Twenty-seven pet lambs started the sale, selling to £20, averaging £10.90 each, with 422 ewes with 622 lambs following.
Renowned Beltex breeder Harry Wood, Dutton, Longridge, topped the market with Texel ewes with twins selling for £252 a family or £84 each.
He also sold the day’s second highest priced outfit a Beltex Shearling with a single lamb at £248.
