READERS are being encouraged to get involved in celebrations for World Book Night.
As part of the fun tomorrow, Todmorden Library is hosting a special event from 7pm until 8pm, where people can get hold of one of the free World Book Night titles.
The Rochdale Road library has 20 copies of Me Before You by JoJo Moyes and 20 copies of The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde to give away on a first come, first served basis. Visitors to the event will also have the chance to swap their own books.
Coun Pauline Nash, Calderdale Council’s cabinet member for communities, said: “I think it’s great that book lovers have the chance to share their enthusiasm with those who may not read regularly.”
