RESIDENTS are invited to a talk on the history of Tockholes’ New Row chapel.
Historian Christine Parkinson has been studying the Methodist congregation who have been meeting in Tockholes since the early years of the Nineteenth Century.
She now plans to present her findings with a special talk at Blackburn’s Livesey library on Tuesday at 2pm.
As well as the chapel, Christine has also researched the history of a number of Tockholes cottages and congregation members.
