TYRONE Mears and Joe Riley are unlikely to play for the Wanderers again this season.
Manager Dougie Freedman said that he did not expect either right-back to feature for the rest of the campaign, leaving Sam Ricketts and loanee Danny Butterfield as the only options on the right side of defence.
Mears has been out of action since February’s 1-1 draw with Derby County because of illness, which is believed to be glandular fever and Riley is still struggling for full fitness after coming back from a broken foot.
