Here's a rare thing in these times of black-clad emo-kid clubbers: an electronic dancefloor-filling stomper.

Yes Yes Y'all smothers Roxanne Shante's vocals amidst a fat, grinding bassline to create an awesome, heaving track that commands everybody in the place to "get down on the floor and up against the wall".

The remix package is decent, with an old-school acid mix from The Glimmers, a dirty, head-pounding take from Duke Dumont and an unhinged mash-up from Sinden.

There's also some extras from Mekon - aka John Gosling - with an interesting new version of Red Tape, previously released under Gosling's Agent Provocateur incarnation, plus passable relaxed toe-tapper Singing Bowl.

But the main version of Yes Yes Y'all blows these extras, remixes - and indeed most dance music released this year - clean out of the water.
