FIREFIGHTERS were called to a home in Billington when a faulty oven caught fire.
Two crews from Hyndburn Fire Station attended the blaze in West View at 10am on Sunday.
The occupants managed to get out before firefighters arrived.
The fire destroyed the oven and caused light smoke damage to the kitchen.
