PARENTS and children enjoyed a feast of drama this week as Stonyhurst College pupils performed four plays in a day.
The performances were held at Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall, Hurst Green, and included Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Winter’s Tale and The Tempest, which were each performed by a different class in Year Eight, who have been rehearsing since the autumn.
The day of drama began in assembly, when children in Years Three and Four performed Romans and Celts, a hilarious ramble through the history of early Britain.
