A PRIMARY school in Read is looking for donations to help with its gardening project.
Year Four pupils at Read St John’s CE Primary School, in Straits Lane, will be working on revamping the garden area outside their classroom as part of their science project.
In order to complete the scheme they are asking for people across the area to send in any cuttings, plants or old plant pots they may have spare to help the children with their task.
Also on the list of requested items are wellies and even old tyres which will be used to help landscape the area.
Anyone who thinks they may be able to help is being asked to send them into school, marked for the attention of teacher Karen Casson.
