SPORT and PE students at Nelson and Colne College sixth form have been practising their ski skills in preparation for a trip to Italy.
As part of their studies the students are given the opportunity to attend a ski trip to Courmayeur in the Italian Alps.
The students took part in a visit to the Chill Factore in Manchester to get some last-minute instruction.
Catherine Stanworth, section leader for Sport and PE at the college, said: “Skiing is a fun and exhilarating sport and one which many students are keen to sample when they join the college.
“We are proud of the sporting achievement of all our students and are keen to give them every opportunity to progress in their preferred sport.”
