A MOTORIST had to be cut free from his vehicle after an early-morning collision on a Burnley estate.
The drivers of a Skoda and Renault Clio were involved in the smash, at around 6.45am yesterday, in Brunshaw Road, said Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters freed the Skoda driver from his vehicle, on the advice of paramedics, and he was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital with suspected neck injuries. The Clio driver was not seriously hurt.
