PENDLE Council is inviting residents to suggest the local issues and services which they think its scrutiny team should look at with a view to making improvements.
Coun Graham Roach, the team’s chairman, said: “We want to make sure we continue to look at the issues that matter most to people in Pendle. “We can only be sure that we’re doing this if you tell us what they are.”
Recently the scrutiny team has looked at Pendle Leisure Trust’s sporting facilities, the revitalisation of town centres and youth employment.
Kath Haydock, borough scrutiny manager, said: “It would be helpful to hear from anyone who feels that there is a particular service or issue where scrutiny could make a difference.”
To suggest a topic, pick up a form from council reception areas, or complete one on the website at www.pendle.gov.uk/scrutinyrequest.
The deadline for sending in suggestions is February 28.
