IMAGES of a man armed with a gun who raided a bookmakers in Burnley have been released.
The robbery took place at William Hill on Padiham Road at around 7.55pm on December 6.
Two members of staff were threatened and the man escaped on foot with a small amount of cash.
CCTV footage shows a white man with a black scarf covering his face, dressed in black tracksuit bottoms, a black jacket and blue gloves, approach the shop counter.
Detective Sergeant Belinda Cooper from Pennine CID said police were still searching for information.
She said: “An investigation is underway but we are keen to speak to two customers who were in the shop last night. One man was playing the bandit and left just prior to the incident the other entered the premises just after the incident.
“Fortunately nobody was injured but the staff members were left very shaken by the incident.
