A FORMER pub landlord has admitted to sexual offences on a teenage boy.
John Colbeck, 43, appeared at Burnley Crown Court yesterday, and pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child, and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
Colbeck, of Chapel Street, Nelson, ran the Punch Bowl Hotel, Earby, until two years ago.
He denied a further charge of sexual assault, an allegation the judge said would be withdrawn when Colbeck was sentenced.
Colbeck was granted bail until December 4 on the condition that he stays at the Chapel Street house - his partner's address.
He must also sign the Sex Offenders Register.
He was warned that his crimes were serious and all options would be open to the court when pre-sentence reports had been written.
