WATCHDOG councillors are set to examine Blackburn with Darwen borough’s efforts regenerate the town centre and dispose of waste effectively.
Chairman Naushad Surve will next week urge members of the regeneration and neighbourhoods overview and scrutiny committee to make these two issues their priority between now and March next year.
Since April they have examined maintaining the highway network in the borough and effect of floods.
Coun Surve now wants the committee to agree priorities and lines of enquiry for the scrutiny investigation.
