GASCOIGNE Iris (formerly Downham) MARGARET (IRIS) GASCOIGNE peacefully on Sunday 26th May 2024 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 90 years. A well-known amateur singer in the Blackburn area and much loved wife to the late Clifford, stepmother of John and Philippa, granny to Emily and Stuart and great-granny to Toby. Iris will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. A funeral service will be held at Lammack Methodist Church, Lammack Road, Blackburn on Wednesday 12th June 2024 at 10.30am followed by a family committal at Accrington Crematorium. Mourners are requested please to wear bright clothing at the funeral rather than black.
