SHACKLETON Ruth Peacefully on 2nd February 2024 at Abbeyfield House, Low Moor, Clitheroe. Ruth aged 85 years of Clitheroe (a former teacher of German at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School). A good friend to many. Reposing in 'Peacehaven' Chapel of Rest. Cremation will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday 20th February at 1.40pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Clitheroe United Reformed Church at 2.30pm. Donations in memory of Ruth, if desired, are invited for either Clitheroe United Reformed Church or Cancer Research UK and can be left at the service or sent c/o Rev. P.
