FIELDING John Peacefully on Friday 10th November 2023 at Northwood Nursing Home, John aged 76 years. The beloved husband of the late Maralyn, an adored dad to Lisa, a treasured grandad to Nathan and a dear friend to many. John bravely fought until his last breath and will be missed forever. Rest easy our darling. A service will be held at Pleasington Crematorium Chapel, at 2.15pm on Wednesday 29th November 2023 followed by an interment in Pleasington Cemetery. Flowers will be received in the Chapel of Rest, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of John to The East Lancs Hospice, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq. I worked with John many years ago. Always very smartly dressed, shirts beautifully ironed by Maralyn and immaculate hair. We had a lot of laughs and he had a sharp wit. Condolences to his family.
