THE TIMELESS wit and popularity of The Gondoliers means the latest production of the show by Barnoldswick Gilbert and Sullivan Society, running from November 23 to 25, will be the fifth time members have staged it.
But the show at Barnoldswick Civic Hall will be the first time that they will have performed it as a full production, previously having performed it as a concert version.
And as usual, the group will be enlisting the services of Jane Wheeler dancers for classic dances.
The Gondoliers was premiered at the Savoy Theatre in 1889, and ran for 554 performances, enjoying a longer run than any of their other joint works except for HMS. Pinafore and The Mikado.
Barnoldswick Gilbert and Sullivan Society is hoping its version of the bubbly and lively show will receive a similarly good response.
Get your tickets now from Gisburn Road Post Office, Barnoldswick Council Shop, Christine's Health Shop, Blooms of Barlick, or from ticket secretary Brian Howarth on 01282 815724.
