Ryan Gosling can call Nicolas Winding Refn for directing tips anytime, the filmmaker has said.
The Danish director, who worked with the Canadian actor in Drive, revealed that he will be on hand for any advice, as Ryan prepares to make his directorial debut with fantasy drama How To Catch A Monster.
"We have spoken about it, and of course I will give him advice if he wants me to. I told him if he wakes up in sweats at 5am on the morning of shooting to call me," he told the Evening Standard.
Nicolas - who helped produce the English-language remake of Pusher starring Agyness Deyn and Richard Coyle - revealed that there are no plans for a Drive sequel.
"That is never going to happen. But the character of the driver might return in another film. We're playing with that idea. We'll see what happens," he said.
He is already set to reunite with Ryan on crime thriller Only God Forgives and sci-fi remake Logan's Run.
