Mockumentary show People Just Do Nothing is coming to an end after five years.

The award-winning programme, which follows MC Grindah (Allan Mustafa) and DJ Beats (Hugo Chegwin) and their West London-based pirate radio station, will air a fifth and final series.

Series five sees rough times for Kurupt FM, as DJ Steves has been arrested and all the station equipment has been seized by the police.

Can the crew find a new home to transmit from?

There is also trouble for Miche (Lily Brazier) and Grindah because the council has decided to knock down the Brentford blocks to make way for luxury flats.

…THE REST ARE IRRELEVANT.

People Just Do Nothing was the first BBC Three show to premiere on its iPlayer service and in 2017 the programme won the Bafta and Royal Television Society Award for Best Scripted Comedy.

For the first time, the show will be premiered on BBC Two and available to watch online on BBC Three.

The Kurupt team have also formed a musical act and last year embarked on their Lost Tape tour, which included two sold-out night’s at London’s Roundhouse.

This year Kurupt FM will perform at festivals including Eastern Electrics and Creamfields ahead of their UK tour in November.
