Michael Cera has been confirmed as the voice of Robin in the upcoming Batman Lego movie.
Will Arnett will return as the voice of the Caped Crusader after his brilliant parody of Christian Bale’s gruff growl in The Lego Movie, and now Arrested Development star Michael has signed up to voice his sidekick.
Chris McKay, who supervised The Lego Movie, will direct the spin-off from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, author of best-selling novels Pride And Prejudice And Zombies and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter.
And the film is due to hit cinemas in February 2017.
Meanwhile, Superbad star Michael has bought the film rights to Masters Of Atlantis, a novel from True Grit writer Charles Portis.
Michael, 27, plans to write the adaptation himself as well as directing and starring in the project.
Set in the early 20th century, the comedy is about a young man who is caught up in a quasi-religious cult, based around the lost city of Atlantis, named the Gnomon Society.
