Hollyoaks star Parry Glasspool has hailed his co-star Nick Pickard for teaching him so much.
The 23-year-old actor joined the Channel 4 soap earlier this year as Tony Hutchinson’s son Harry, and was delighted to work with Nick, who has been in the show since it started in 1995.
Parry told Inside Soap: “I’ve learnt a lot from Nick – he’s a real legend. He’s taught me so much about TV acting.
“But I love working with the whole cast in general. When I’m not acting, I like to watch other people like James Sutton (John Paul McQueen) and Alex Fletcher (Diane O’Connor) and try to learn as much from them as possible.”
Parry was delighted after Hollyoaks bosses made his role permanent following an appearance in Hollyoaks Later.
He said: “I had only just touched on the character after playing him for a few nights. I hadn’t watched anything of Harry back when he was a kid, so I didn’t really know about him and what he was about. I really like the idea of taking the role and being able to make him much more my own creation.”
