Bella Thorne doesn’t last long in the opening scenes of the new Scream TV show.
The first eight minutes of the MTV show, based on the hit horror movie franchise, have been released on YouTube, ahead of the series’ premiere on Tuesday June 30.
The Duff star Bella plays a teenage girl dropped off at home by her boyfriend while her parents are out of town. And then her evening plays out a lot like Drew Barrymore’s character in the first of the hit movie series in 1996.
The pilot episode starts with a steamy video of lead character Audrey, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus, going viral.
Bella’s character Nina – who was originally listed as a recurring character in the series – is revealed to be the culprit and once home alone she starts to get a series of text messages from someone who is watching her.
Nina plays along with the messages – but things soon turn very ugly, proving in Scream no one is safe!
