Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden are expecting their second child.
Charley, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap, announced the news on Twitter by posting a snap of the couple and their five-year-old son Buster.
Buster stood behind a sign in the black and white pic, with the words “only child expiring December 2015″.
Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe in the soap, told This Morning: “Buster is desperate for a little brother so we’ll have to see what it is.”
But he added: “We’re not going to find out.”
Matthew will be away from the soap for a while, as his on-screen family moves to Portugal.
“It’s goodbye for now but possible that David will be back,” he said.
Charley and Matthew started dating in 2008 and got back together after a short split.
