Queen guitarist Brian May declared that “no vote is wasted, no seat is safe”, as he launched a campaign aimed at encouraging people to vote.
May’s new “Common Decency” campaign aims to undermine safe parliamentary seats by urging voters to back “decent” candidates, rather than parties. He unveiled a billboard in Vauxhall, south London, with “You have one voice – one vote – use it!” emblazoned across it.
May declared that the Government “lacked empathy” with animals and humans alike, and said that he hoped his message would shake up British politics.
