One of the best series of games on the PS3 — nay, one of the best series of games ever made — is Uncharted, a cinematic classic which combines an excellent narrative with some gripping, cliffhanger set pieces.
And as fans of the franchise get ready for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception this year, it’s heartening to see this wonderfully priced double-pack to entice those who have never taken the plunge to become addicted.
To appreciate the new game fully, you will certainly have to play the first two in the series which is where this double pack comes in, jostling for position with the GTAs and Call Of Dutys of this world as some of the best slices of gaming entertainment on the planet.
Uncharted 1 and 2 deliver some of the finest executions of console action gaming ever seen.
And, for less than the price of a full-price new release, you get two of the blighters — still showcasing some of the finest graphics seen on the system, Game of the Year awards galore and the sort of storyline that would put most Hollywood directors to shame.
OK, you may be coming late to Nathan Drake’s party but this is one superlative action shindig you don’t want to miss.
