Gone are the wardens
and all yellow lines;
no tickets on windscreens,
no more hurtful fines.
We can park where we want to;
no clamping of wheels;
ending all arguments and
embarrassing appeals.
The government has promised
that fuel will be free,
no more excise duty
no more MOT.
I could hardly believe
in this wonderful scheme,
till the fantasy faded
when I awoke from my dream!
