You voiced respect for Mother Earth,
To the Body Shop ethics you gave birth,
You made the world a more enlightened place,
With skin care products to revive the face.
You championed the cause of community trade,
Your eco-friendly thinking always made the grade,
You were a rock, sterling, granite,
Respecting the animals of the planet.
Your passing is so hard to bear,
You touched our hearts, asked us to care,
Satsuma, strawberry, musk and apple,
With fragrance fairtrade you did grapple.
Campaigning for global self esteem,
You wrapped England in a cosmetic dream,
The Body Shop is like your shrine,
Where peace and light will always shine.
