ONE of Australia's first vineyard areas, the Barossa Valley north of Adelaide, is home to this one and the family of Grant Burge who have been making wine since 1855.
It's a Sauvignon Blanc which is more tropical fruit than lemons and it does have a lovely creamy feel to it too.
The alcohol level is a reasonable 13.5% and of course there is the almost obligatory (in the New World) screw cap.
GRANT BURGE SAUVIGNON BLANC, from £5.99, D. Byrne of Clitheroe, Oddbins
