Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc, Pinto Grigio 2011, £8.99, Sainsbury’s Villa Maria is probably New Zealand’s best-known and best-selling makers of Sauvignon Blanc but this white is a little different.
A total of 45 per cent is Pinot Grigio which adds a lightness and melon and lime flavour to the typical grapefruit tang of the Sauvignon Blanc.
