Peter Saunders, assistant manager at Northcote hotel in Langho, was runner-up in this year’s Restaurant Association’s 2009 Young Waiter competition.
Peter, 23, had to serve lunch to a table of four and was marked on service skills, communication and etiquette.
Northcote co-owner Craig Bancroft said: “I have no doubt in Peter’s skills and he well deserves this place.”
