Venturer Rueda Verdejo 2013, £4.99, Aldi Verdejo, not to be confused with Verdelho from neighbouring Portugal, is a grape unique to Spain’s Rueda region. It has lemon, grapefruit and citrus tastes and a lot of similarity to world famous Sauvignon Blanc. Less than a fiver – unbelievable!
