AMITABH Bachchan has taken to Twitter to announce the work he is doing for a health campaign for infectious disease caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV).
The 72-year-old actor, who is also a UNICEF Global Ambassador for polio eradication, tweeted: “Wish to start a campaign on awareness of hepatitis B...met some committed doctors and shall strategise... Detect and cured asap!”
Bachchan can be seen on the big screen in his upcoming film Shamitabh in the new year after what was a relatively quiet 2014 for the Bollywood legend.
